Nils Wehrenberg has been a PhD student at the Chair of Empirical Economics since January 2026. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Humboldt University of Berlin and completed his Master’s degree in Public Economics at Freie Universität Berlin, specializing in labor economics and applied empirical methods. His research interests lie in female labor force participation, the labor market effects of early childcare expansions, and regional economic disparities.
